Start with your date, guest numbers, budget and location, then shortlist venues and suppliers that list those details. Compare packages, what is included and photos of real events. Visit venues in person where you can, and ask suppliers for examples of recent work similar to what you want.

Get a written agreement with the date, times, services, total price, payment schedule and the cancellation and refund terms. Ask what happens if the supplier cannot attend and who will replace them. For venues, check capacity, parking, decoration rules and any extra charges for staff or overtime.

A person checks every listing before it goes live, usually within 1–2 hours. Premium listings can add a banner or video.
