When someone in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Liverpool, Bristol and Wolverhampton needs a dentist, a plumber or somewhere to eat, they search, compare a few options and contact the one that looks most trustworthy. A Search IT listing gives your business a clear, complete profile in that moment: your name, category, address or service area, phone and WhatsApp numbers, opening hours, photos, services and prices.
Search IT is not a free-for-all directory. Every new listing, edit to key details and claim is checked by a member of our team before it goes live, so customers see accurate information and you are not competing with spam or copied listings. Customers can request appointments, send you messages without seeing your email address, and leave reviews that are checked before they appear.
A listing also adds one more accurate, consistent mention of your business name, address and phone number online, which helps customers and search engines trust that your details are correct.
How it works
- Create a free account. Sign up with your name and email address and confirm it with the 6-digit code we send you. Creating an account costs nothing.
- Add your business. Choose your category and fill in your details: name, address or service area, phone, WhatsApp, website, opening hours, photos, services and prices. A completeness meter shows what is still missing.
- Choose a package and pay securely. Pick Starter, Advanced or Premium and pay through Stripe. You get a payment confirmation by email straight away.
- A person checks your listing. Our team reviews every listing, usually within 1–2 hours and often within minutes. At weekends it can take a few hours. If we cannot approve it, we email you the reason and refund you in full automatically.
Already on Search IT? Many businesses were listed before our relaunch. Search for your business name, open the listing and tap Claim this business. Any package, including Starter, can be used to claim it.
What each package includes
Prices below are shown in pounds (GBP), as UK visitors see them. The current price is always on our pricing page and at checkout. A launch discount may be available at checkout.
- Starter, £0.99 one-time. One listing, visible for 7 days from approval. Includes online appointment booking, up to 5 photos, 2 posts, 1 active offer and direct messages from customers. A low-cost way to try Search IT or to claim an existing listing.
- Advanced, £3.99 a month or £39.90 a year. Up to 5 listings with no expiry while you are subscribed. Priority placement above Starter listings in your category and in search, engagement insights (views, clicks and bookings), up to 15 photos per listing, 4 posts a month and 3 active offers.
- Premium, £7.99 a month or £79.90 a year. Up to 10 listings, top-of-category placement, a rotating spot in the homepage sliders, the blue Verified badge after a quick document check, a custom banner or video, a full analytics dashboard, up to 30 photos per listing and unlimited posts and offers.

The Verified badge
Premium businesses can earn the blue Verified badge by uploading one document, such as a Companies House certificate of incorporation, a business licence from your council, or a utility bill or bank statement in the business name, or proof of an email address on your business domain. Documents are stored privately, seen only by our verification team and deleted 30 days after our decision. Read more about the Verified badge.

How much does it cost to list my business in the UK?
Creating an account is free. Publishing a listing needs a package: Starter is £0.99 one-time for 7 days, Advanced is £3.99 a month and Premium is £7.99 a month, with yearly options that cost the same as 10 months. How long does approval take?
Usually 1–2 hours, and often just a few minutes. At weekends it can take a few hours. A person on our team checks every listing. If we cannot approve yours, we email you the reason and refund your payment in full automatically.
My business is already on Search IT. Do I need to create a new listing?
No. Open your existing listing and tap Claim this business. Choose any package, starting with Starter, and tell us your role. Once our team confirms you are the owner or manager, you can update the details, reply to reviews and accept bookings.
