Questions about professional profiles
What are professional profiles?
Professional profiles are listings for individuals, such as developers, designers, writers, photographers and consultants, rather than companies. Each profile shows the person's skills, services, rates where added, portfolio and how to contact them, so you can find freelance help in your area or anywhere in the world.
How do I choose a freelancer?
Compare portfolios, skills and rates, then ask for examples of work similar to your project. Agree the scope, deadline, number of revisions and payment terms in writing before work starts. For larger projects, pay in stages linked to agreed milestones rather than all upfront.
How do I contact a professional through Search IT?
Tap Send message on the profile to share your project details; the professional replies and you get an email. You can also call or message on WhatsApp if they show those buttons. Some professionals accept consultation requests through the Book button. Payments are arranged directly with them.
How do I create my own professional profile?
Create a free account, choose Add a listing and select the Professional Profile type. Add your skills, services, rates, portfolio images, social links and the areas or time zones you work in. A person on our team checks every profile before it goes live, usually within 1–2 hours.
